It doesn’t get any easier – or tastier – than the fantastic range of prepared seafood dishes from Woolworths. And there’s so much to choose from! For a dinner that needs a quick side – or a creamy pasta to act as a base – you can’t do better than poached salmon, which comes in a variety of flavours, including lemon and pepper, and a soya glaze. The hot-smoked Norwegian trout bites are ideal in salads, or on crackers with cream cheese.

For something hearty for winter, look to the Easy to Cook range, which includes haddock Mornay, creamy hake-and-spinach bake, creamy salmon-and-basa bake, and the new hot-smoked trout bake with a creamy sauce and cauliflower florets. It’s flavourful, easy and delicious – proving that dinner doesn’t have to be a production.

An easy bake

Cook the fish pie according to package instructions and serve with pan-roasted Tenderstem broccoli and garlic, crunchy almonds, black pepper and a squeeze of lemon. We used the new hot-smoked trout bake with a creamy sauce and cauliflower florets.

A quick and delicious pasta

Pan-fry or chargrill tomatoes and toss with Woolworths’ béchamel sauce and cooked pasta. Top with flaked warm poached salmon with lemon and black pepper, add a squeeze of lemon, black pepper and garnish with fresh herbs.

A simple dinner

Steam the greens of your choice (broccoli, asparagus, green beans, sugar snap peas) and serve with flaked poached salmon with soya glaze. Garnish with sesame seeds.

A quick snack

Serve hot-smoked Norwegian trout bites on crackers or toasted bread with a smear of cream cheese. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with baby herbs.
