Broccoli-and-cheese waffles
We’re turning a classic comfort food combination – broccoli and cheese – into something truly fun and delicious. These savoury waffles are super-easy to make, packed with nutritious ingredients, and perfect for lunchboxes or even as a snack on the go. Customise the recipe to fit your taste – swap broccoli for other veggies such as spinach, baby marrow or even cauliflower, and feel free to get creative with the cheese – sharp Cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend of your favourites all work perfectly.
Ingredients
Method- 1 x 300 g box box Woolworths flapjack, pancake and waffle mix
- 1 cup broccoli, chopped
- ½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated
Method
Ingredients1. In a large mixing bowl, prepare the flapjack, pancake and waffle mix according to package instructions but using 300ml milk, not 400ml. Mix until well combined.
2. Add the broccoli and cheese and mix well.
3. Heat and grease a waffle iron, add a spoonful of batter and cook until golden brown on the outside. Repeat with the remaining batter.
