This is how to take your soups to the next level!

Elevate your favourite soups with toppings and dippers. This is more than just grilled cheese toasties – we’re making parmesan-crusted sweet potato churros and cheesy potato tots!

Soup season is finally upon us. While we’re excited to tuck into favourites such as butternut and broccoli soup, we still like to mix things up a bit. So whether you have a tried-and-tested recipe, use Woolworths’ soup mixes or heat up a packet of store-bought soup, here’s how you can take it to the next level.

Parmesan-crusted sweet potato churros

We’re not hopping off the air-fryer train any time soon. Sprinkle a generous amount of grated Parmesan on Woolworths’ sweet potato churros (save the salted caramel for other desserts or drizzle into hot chocolate) and pop into the air-fryer to get golden and crispy. Dunk in creamy butternut soup and you’ve got a hard-to-resist hearty meal.

Cheesy potato tot croutons

Put a spin on classic broccoli and cheese with these cheese-stuffed potato tots. Make a small insession into the tots and add a cube of mozzarella, then air-fry or bake until the cheese is melted and gooey. Dip and dig in!

So after a busy day, if all you’re craving is something hearty and comforting, you don’t have to bother with peeling and chopping vegetables, just simmer in stock and serve. Don’t forget to top with your favourite flavours for the ultimate hearty meal.
