4 chocolate sauces we’re loving right now

Drown your dessert in one of these and you may never go back to plain old chocolate sauce again

White chocolate and lime

Heat 1⁄2 cup cream with 4 T milk.
Add 200 g chopped white chocolate and stir until melted.
Add 1t lime zest and 1T olive oil.

FUDGY BAR ONE

Place 2 chopped 55 g Bar One chocolate bars into a glass or metal bowl.
Add 1 x 397 g can condensed milk and 1⁄2 cup cream.
Place over a pan of simmering water and melt.

Alternatively, place all the ingredients into a glass bowl and microwave until melted.

Boozy dark chocolate

Place 100 g chopped dark chocolate in a glass or metal bowl with 1 T butter, 1 T caster sugar and 3 T hazelnut liqueur.
Place over a pan of simmering water and melt.

Caramelised white chocolate sauce

Place a nonstick pan over very low heat.
Melt 400g roughly chopped white chocolate in the pan and whisk until smooth.
Stir with a spatula every few minutes until the chocolate begins to caramelise – about 40 minutes.
