Ingredients
Method
- 40 g white chocolate
- 10 date balls (we used Woolies’ hazelnut-and-coffee date bites)
- desiccated coconut
- a handful of blueberries or pomegranate rubies
Method
Ingredients
1. Melt the chocolate and drizzle a little on top of each date ball.
2. Before the chocolate sets, sprinkle over a little coconut and dot with the pomegranate rubies or blueberries to look like holly berries.
Cook’s note: This recipe was part of a series of recipe tests for Christmas hacks seen on Pinterest. Our verdict: fun to make and surprisingly delicious. Date balls coated in chocolate get our vote! Easy if you opt for Woolies’ date balls with flat bottoms. I lost a couple of the round variety, which rolled away while receiving their melted chocolate.
