With March on the horizon we’re getting ready for Easter feasting – and although we want it to be delicious, we don’t want to spend all day in the kitchen. This is where the amazing The Instant Pot Duo Crisp™ + Air Fryer comes in.
Because now you can air-fry in your Instant Pot! It’s the best of both worlds. In fact, it’s the best of all possible cooking worlds, because this inventive machine combines no less than 11 appliances in one. From pressure-cooking to slow-cooking, air-frying to dehydrating, and even sous vide or making home-made yoghurt – you really can make anything in the Duo Crisp. All it takes is the simple switch of a lid, and then it could not be easier to make succulent roast chicken, tender ribs or one-pot lasagne, all in under an hour.
In fact, after spending the weekend getting to know this machine, our food director Abigail Donnelly reports with amazement that you can bring a whole frozen chicken to golden crispy readiness in less than 35 minutes!
But first, she created this delicious low-key weekend feast (perfect for Easter) of slow-cooked lamb with harissa and rose-water. Serve it with home-made flatbreads (cooked using the air-fryer function) and even some home-made yoghurt (made using the sous vide function) if you’re feeling ambitious! The result is a fantastic and indulgent spread with very little hands-on time needed.
