Ingredients
Method- oil, for frying
- 500 g Woolworths frozen mashed potato, cooked according to package instructions
- 60 g cake flour
- 1 free-range egg
- 5 g fresh chives
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 2 t Woolworths biltong powder, plus extra to garnish
- 25 g Woolworths sliced biltong
- 50 g Woolworths Grated Mature Cheddar Cheese
- 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
Method
Ingredients1. Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Combine the mashed potato, flour, egg and chives. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Roll the mixture into 6 balls and make an indentation into each ball using the back of a teaspoon or your finger. Fill the indentations with the biltong powder, sliced biltong and grated cheese. Pinch closed and gently fry until puffed and golden.
4. Garnish with sliced spring onions and a dusting of biltong powder.
