Ingredients

Method
  • avocado or neutral oil, for frying
  • Woolworths Asian sesame oil, for frying
  • 6-8 Woolworths frozen potstickers with prawns 6–8
  • 1 t cornflour, mixed with 3 T water
  • For the dipping sauce:

  • 2 T Woolworths Asian soy dipping sauce
  • 1 t Asian chilli Szechuan pepper oil
  • ½ t Asian sesame oil
  • 1 red chilli, sliced (optional)
  • toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Method

Ingredients

1. Heat a drizzle of avocado oil and sesame oil in a pan. Arrange the potstickers in the pan, pour over the cornflour slurry, reduce the heat to low and cover with a lid.

2. Allow the potstickers to slowly steam while the cornflour net crisps.

3. In the meantime, mix together all the ingredients for the dipping sauce.

4. Serve the crispy potstickers with the dipping sauce.

Cook's note: Once you have added the cornflour slurry, be sure to keep the heat low to avoid burning the potstickers.
