Ingredients
Method- 2 baby leeks, thinly sliced
- 3 red onions, thinly sliced
- 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
- 1 pack chilli bites mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup canola oil, for frying
- 80 g fresh mint and coriander leaves, for serving
- Woolworths coriander and mint chutney, for serving
- Woolworths chilli pickle, for serving
Method
Ingredients1. Place the leeks, 2 sliced red onions, and the spring onions in a mixing bowl. Add the flour mixture from the chilli bites pack, then add the water and mix until combined.
2. Heat up the oil in a shallow frying pan. Use two tablespoons to shape the mixture into bite-sized pieces, then drop them into the hot oil. Fry in batches, turning halfway through, for 5 minutes per batch or until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper.
3. Serve warm with freshly sliced red onion, salad leaves, coriander and mint chutney,and chilli pickle.
