Salami-stuffed dates with honey

15 minutesSweet, salty and creamy, these stuffed dates are the ultimate bite-sized appetiser. Choose between tangy Gorgonzola or a fresh feta-and-herb dip for the filling, then finish with salami and a drizzle of honey.

- 20 Woolworths Medjool dates, pitted
- 100 g Gorgonzola, cut into small cubes
- 160 g Woolworths South African feta-and-herb dip
- 10 slices salami, cut into small coins
- 2 T honey, for drizzling
Method
Ingredients
1. Gently open each date and stuff with a cube of Gorgonzola or a spoonful of the feta-and- herb dip.
2. Top each filled date with a sprinkle of salami coins.
3. Arrange on a serving platter and drizzle lightly with honey. Serve immediately.
Cook’s note: For extra crunch, tuck in a toasted walnut or almond before sealing with the salami.
