Ingredients

Method
  • 175 g plain flour
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 t salt
  • Canola oil, dripping, or lard

1. To make the Yorkshire puddings, whisk the flour, eggs, milk and salt until smooth. Rest for at least 30 minutes.

2. Place 1T oil into each cavity of a large muffin pan, then heat in the oven until smoking hot. Half-fill the muffin moulds with batter, then bake at 220°C for 20–25 minutes, or until puffed and golden.

3. Serve immediately or re-crisp in the oven or air-fryer for 10 minutes.
