Fried sundried tomato feta mezze platter
Ingredients
Method- 400 g Woolworths South African feta cheese with sun-dried tomato & basil
- 100 g Woolworths plain crumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 100 g flour
- mini cucumbers, to serve
- Woolworths tzatziki, for dipping
- Woolworths exotic mix tomatoes, to serve
- Fresh herbs, to garnish
- Olives, to serve
Method
Ingredients
1. Remove the rounds of feta from the container and place in the freezer for 5 – 10 minutes.
2. Just before serving, crumb your feta rounds by dusting in flour, then dipping in beaten egg and then coating in crumbs.
3. Gently one at a time, place the crumbed feta into hot oil to fry until golden brown, remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a kitchen towel.
4. Serve on a platter with all of your favourite things and enjoy warm with a squeeze of lemon juice.
