Garlicky prawns with apple salad

Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 16 prawns evenly coated
  • 1 avocado
  • Ingredients aren't specified.
  • 4 apples
  • ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 T brown sugar
  • 1 X 5 cm piece grated ginger
  • 1 chopped chilli

Crush 3–4 cloves garlic with 2 T olive oil and toss with 16 prawns until evenly coated.

Place a pan over a medium to high heat and sear the prawns for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until coral in colour and firm and opaque.

Slice the avocado and apples into matchsticks and serve with a dressing madeby combining the rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, grated ginger, chopped chilli and lemon wedges.
