Ingredients
Method- 500 ml sunflower oil
- 120 g cake flour
- 2 T garam masala
- 1 T turmeric
- salt, to taste
- 500 ml buttermilk
- 2 large white onion
- 500 ml buttermilk
- 125 ml mango or peach chutney
Method
Ingredients1. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Place the flour into a bowl with the garam masala, turmeric and salt to taste.
2. Add 125 ml (1 cup) of buttermilk and mix to combine.
3. Slice the onions into rings and then in half. Coat in the batter and deep-fry in the oil until golden and crisp.
4. Drain on kitchen paper.
5. Mix 125 ml (1 cup) of buttermilk with the chutney and serve with the bhajis.
