Ingredients
Method- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup cream
- 1 cup chopped pecan nuts
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- Ice cream for serving
Method
IngredientsCook the butter over medium heat for 6 minutes until golden. Add sugar and corn syrup (alternatively use liquid glucose or honey), cook and stir for 2 minutes until dissolved.
Remove from heat and gradually stir in the cream. Put back on medium heat and boil until sauce starts to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in chopped pecan nuts and vanilla extract.
Serve warm over ice cream.
