  • 200 g fava (broad) beans
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 T pecorino grated

Method

Ingredients
  1. Preheat the grill. Toss the beans in the olive oil, then sprinkle with salt. Spread the beans on a baking tray and grill for 15 minutes, tossing occasionally. Allow to cool slightly.
  2. Toss the beans with the garlic, lemon juice and pecorino.

Cook’s note: Replace the fava beans with fresh asparagus.
