- 200 g fava (broad) beans
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- salt, to taste
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 T pecorino grated
Preheat the grill. Toss the beans in the olive oil, then sprinkle with salt. Spread the beans on a baking tray and grill for 15 minutes, tossing occasionally. Allow to cool slightly.
Toss the beans with the garlic, lemon juice and pecorino.
Cook’s note: Replace the fava beans with fresh asparagus.
