Ingredients
Method- oil, for frying
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and cut into 2 cm-thick chips
- 1 sheet nori, crushed into flakes
- 1 T sesame seeds, toasted
- 1 T sea salt flakes
- 1 t cracked black pepper
Method
Ingredients1. Place the oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Place the chips into the cold oil and allow it to heat up and fry slowly to cook the chips through properly. Once the potatoes are soft, increase the heat to high to crisp up the chips.
2. Remove the chips from the pan using a slotted spoon, shaking off any excess oil and drain on kitchen paper.
3. Combine the remaining ingredients to make a seasoning for the chips. Toss the hot chips in the seasoning and serve immediately.
