Ingredients
Method- 6 ripe guavas
- Water
- 3 T light brown sugar
- 4 *whole star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
Method
IngredientsPeel and halve ripe guavas, place in a saucepan and just cover with water. Add light brown sugar,* whole star anise and cinnamon stick and simmer gently over a medium to high heat for 5 minutes, or until tender. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Serve with custard or thick Greek yoghurt.
