  • 4 red apples
  • 120 g treacle sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 lemon
  • Woolworths vanilla-flavoured custard, to serve with

Method

Ingredients

Preheat the oven to 180ºC.

Quarter 4 red apples and sprinkle with 120 g treacle sugar, 100 g butter and the juice of 1 lemon. Roast for 20 minutes, or until tender and caramelised.

Toss halfway through cooking. Cool for 5 minutes, then toss in the slightly cooled caramel.

Serve with Woolworths vanilla-flavoured custard.
