Green miso queen dressing

8 to10
Easy
5 minutes

This vibrant green miso queen dressing is really quick and simple to make and works so well with almost any salad. It’s great with fish, pork, lamb, or even chicken. Try roasting fish on the braai, then spread over a generous layer of this dressing once it’s cooked. It will stop the cooking process and soak into the fish.

Healthy pantry items

1. Eggs, packed with natural goodness, high in protein, Vitamin B12 and loads of antioxidants. Eggs everyday all day! Suitable for all eating occasions, fun fact here a chefs Torque has 101 pleats in it and this is supposedly the amount of different dishes a chef should be able to create with an egg! How many can you do?

2. Quinoa, High in protein, fibre and B vitamins a wonderful addition to a salad or replacement for rice

3. Olive oil, I cook in this and use Extra virgin to dress salads with, it has great flavour and is one of the most natural healthy oils available

4. Tinned Tuna, keeping tins in the cupboard will allow for a quick and easy hit of protein, the fact its ready to eat and already delicious means you don’t need to waste time cooking.

5. Nut butter, I love a quick peanut butter on a bagel vibe, nut butters are filled with goodness and are great as a snack or to add a richness to curry sauces!

6. Cheese glorious cheese, so many that pack a punch in taste and are high in protein, from the versatile cottage cheese (perfect on top of a roasted sweet potato, finished with chopped chives and black pepper) to crumbles of feta cheese mixed through your favourite pasta or salad dish.

7. Yoghurt, I’m biased here but Woollies double thick, creamy yoghurt is one of the best in the world, and! We have won awards for it so don’t just take my word for it. It’s filled with good bacteria and healthy fats, I love topping it with nuts, seeds, fruit and peanut butter to kick start my day.
