Ingredients

120 g Woolworths chilli cheese-flavoured corn strips
145 g toasted breadcrumbs
6 Kids™ Ayrshire Medium Fat Mozzarella Cheese Sticks
200 g flour
3 free-range eggs, beaten
oil, for deep-frying
salsa or tomato sauce, for serving

Method

1. Blend or crush the corn strips until they resemble breadcrumbs, then mix with the breadcrumbs.

2. Coat the cheese in the flour, then dip into the beaten egg, ensuring it’s well coated. Finally, cot it in the before breadcrumb mixture. Heat the oil in a saucepan.

3. Carefully place the cheese into the oil and fry for 1–2 minutes, or until the outside is golden and crisp. Drain on kitchen paper. Serve with your favourite salsa or tomato sauce.
