Baked mielie rice tart with tomato sauce, cheese, chilli and herbs

- 375 g mielie rice
- 2 x 250 g Woolworths tomato-and-basil pasta sauce
- Woodsmoked bacon
- Paprika
- 150 g Gouda, grated
- Fresh chopped chillies
Method
Ingredients
1. Prepare 375 g mielie rice according to package instructions.
2. Layer in an ovenproof dish, alternating with Woolworths tomato-and-basil pasta sauce, 2 x 250 g packets cooked diced woodsmoked bacon, a sprinkle of paprika and seasoning to taste.
3. Top with any remaining bacon, 150 g grated Gouda and fresh chopped chillies.
4. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
