Beef tartare on toast

Make a big bowl of this beef tartare with spicy tomato vinaigrette and let guests help themselves. If you prefer, serve with rösti or salt-and-vinegar chips. As an alternative use salmon or trout instead of beef.

Ingredients
Method-
For the vinaigrette:
- 6 baby tomatoes, grated
- 3 T olive oil
- 2 t lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 t oak-smoked chilli flakes
- sea salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste For the tartare, combine:
- 680 g Woolworths half beef fillet, cubed
- 1 T wholegrain mustard
- 1 T horseradish cream
- 2 t Worcestershire sauce
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 t lemon juice
- sea salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste For serving:
- 4 slices ciabatta, toasted
- 2 T capers, friend until crispy
- 10 g chives, finely chopped
Method
Ingredients1. To make the vinaigrette, whisk together the ingredients, check the seasoning and chill while you make the tartare.
2. Top the toasted ciabatta with the tartare and season with the vinaigrette. Garnish with the crispy capers and chives.
