Ingredients
Method- 185 g butter, plus extra for greasing
- 90 g sugar
- 180 g flour
- 2 t cocoa
- 100 g chocolate ProNutro
- 60 g dessicated coconut
- 1 t baking powder
- 1 t salt For the sauce:
- 5 T icing sugar
- 3 T butter
- 2 t cocoa
- 1 T boiling water
Method
IngredientsPreheat the oven to 150°C. Grease and line an oblong ovenproof dish.
Cream the butter and sugar. Add the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Press into the dish and bake for 20 minutes.
Spoon the sauce over the hot biscuits and allow to cool. Cut the squares to the desired size when completely cool.
To make the sauce, mix the icing sugar, butter and cocoa. Add just enough boiling water to make a runny paste.
I just made this and it is really delicious! I will be making it again! I think there is an error in the ‘sauce’ recipe, as “2 t cocoa” is written twice. I chose to add 4 tsp cocoa to the sauce anyway, and was very happy with the result and would make it that way again. Thank you for this recipe, and greetings from Adelaide, Australia!
