Ingredients

  • 1 ciabatta loaf, frozen
  • 3 T olive oil
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 250 g streaky bacon
  • 100 g goat’s cheese, crumbled
  • 200 g strawberries, quartered
  • 2 T balsamic cream
  • Mint or coriander microgreens, to garnish

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Thinly slice the ciabatta lengthwise using a serrated knife. Arrange the slices on a baking tray, brush both sides with olive oil and season. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes, until crispy and toasted.

Heat a frying pan over a high heat and fry the bacon until crispy.

Serve the crostinis with the bacon, goat's cheese, strawberries and balsamic cream. Garnish with mint or coriander microgreens.
