Ingredients

Method
  • 1 x 680 g jar Nutella
  • 24 macarons
  • edible gold cake decorations, to decorate
  • edible gold shimmer, to decorate

1. Spread the Nutella (or home-made buttercream, if you prefer) all over a 23 cm polystyrene ball and stick on the macarons.

2. Decorate with the cake decorations and gold shimmer. Chill until ready to serve.

Cook's note: Find polystyrene balls at florist supply stores and edible shimmer at baking stores. Search for a macaron recipe at taste.co.za if you’d like to make your own.
