Just when we thought butter couldn't be improved, Instagram reminds us that flavoured butters are one of food’s greatest gifts. We’ve seen all kinds of flavours lately, from a herby butter to roast onion-and-miso and schmaltzy chicken skin butter topped with crispy chicken bits. Use it to baste grilled veggies or meat or smear over fresh bread.
Ingredients
Method- 250 g butter
- 20–30 g a mix of soft herbs (parsley, basil, chives)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- Salt, to taste
Method
IngredientsBlend all the ingredients in a food processor. Check the seasoning and adjust if necessary.
