The secret to making smoked trout go further? Transform it into this lox-bagel inspired dip! It’s the perfect party starter to impress the in-laws.

1 Place the cream cheese in a large bowl and mix to soften. Finely chop half the trout and mix into the cream cheese.
2 Spread the cream cheese onto a serving platter and sprinkle over the chives. Arrange the remaining trout on the cream cheese and sprinkle with the bagel seasoning and dill.
3 Serve with your favourite Woolworths crackers, bagels or garlic-and-parsley bruschetta.
