Ingredients

Method
  • 2 cups full-cream milk
  • 1 t salt
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 t rose flavoured essence
  • 1 slab Lindt dark chocolate (any percentage you prefer), roughly chopped, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 T brown sugar
  • Turkish delight, to serve
  • dried rose petals (optional)

1. Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan.

2. Add the salt and stir in the oats.

3. Allow to bubble for two minutes before adding the rose essence, followed by the chocolate and sugar. Stir until the chocolate has melted.

4. Dish up the oats and serve with a piece of Turkish delight and a shard of chocolate. Garnish with rose petals.
