Ingredients
Method- 1-2 t ground turmeric
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Salt, a pinch
- Cinnamon, a pinch
- 1-2 T honey
- 4 cups sweetened almond milk
Method
Ingredients- Add the ground turmeric, the lemon zest, salt, cinnamon and honey to warm sweetened almond milk.
- Bring to a slow simmer and adjust the flavours to taste. Simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes, but do not allow the mixture to boil.
- Divide between 4-6 small glasses. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of turmeric if you like.
Cook’s note: Use cow’s milk instead of almond milk if you prefer.
