- 1-2 t ground turmeric
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Salt, a pinch
- Cinnamon, a pinch
- 1-2 T honey
- 4 cups sweetened almond milk
Add the ground turmeric, the lemon zest, salt, cinnamon and honey to warm sweetened almond milk.
Bring to slow simmer and adjust the flavours to taste. Simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes, but do not allow the mixture to boil.
Divide between 4-6 small glasses. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of turmeric if you like.
Cook’s note: Use cow’s milk instead of almond milk if you prefer.
