Viral soup-dumpling lasagne

There’s a reason this easy soup-dumpling lasagne has gone viral! They contain all the flavours of  your favourite dumpling,s with none of the fiddly folding. You can use chicken or duck sausages if you prefer, and even make individual servings in ramekins.

Ingredients

  • 8 pork bangers
  • 1 t crushed ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely grated
  • 2 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 16 dumpling wrappers
  • 2/3 cup beef stock
  • 1 T Woolworths Asian Everything soya sauce
  • 1 t fish sauce
  • Woolworths Asian spicy chilli crisp with fried black beans, to garnish (optional)

Method

Ingredients

1. Remove the sausage meat from the casings. Mix with the ginger, garlic and the white part of the spring onions.

2.Layer half the sausage meat into a rectangular dish, then top with 8 dumpling wrappers. Smooth over the remaining sausage meat and top with the remaining dumpling wrappers.

3. Pour over the stock, soya sauce and fish sauce.

4.Place the dish inside a large bamboo steamer over a saucepan of simmering water and steam for 15 minutes, or until cooked through.

5.Garnish with the greens from the chopped spring onion and the chilli crisp.

Cook’s note: Place the filling into ramekins to make individual portions.
