7. Steamed chocolate cake
We'll always love a chocolate cake, no matter how it's made. This recipe by Abigail was created in dark times, a.k.a. loadshedding (touch wood that's behind us). Perhaps this recipe's popularity resurfaced because the oven was occupied with slow-roasts and cheesy baked dishes. Or maybe the slathering of Nutella on top drew you to it. Whatever the reason, we're glad you gave this recipe some love.

4. Ragù di agnello with fresh fettucine
Ragù is definitely in the top five of the best ways to use mince. So when we had to create a campaign using Woolies' lamb mince, naturally, we went with a classic ragù di agnello. Clearly, it was the right call, as this recipe made it high up our most popular recipes for July!
3. One-pan chicken Florentine
We interrupt the pasta parade for different comfort food options. Hannah Lewry packed some childhood nostalgia into this chicken Florentine. Plus, it's a one-pan recipe, which is always popular. Using fewer dishes to make a hearty meal is always a win.
