Ostrich frikkadels subs

1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the Woolworths Italian inspired ostrich frikkadels and pan-fry for 5–6 minutes, turning to brown evenly. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same pan, sauté the onion and garlic until soft and translucent. Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.
3. Add the tomatoes, season, and bring to a simmer. Return the meatballs to the pan, cover and simmer gently for 15–20 minutes, or until cooked through.
4. Preheat the oven’s grill. Slice the mini loaves in half lengthways without cutting all the way through. Place 3 meatballs and some sauce in each roll, top with mozzarella, then place under the grill for 2–3 minutes, or until bubbling and golden.
