- 1 head garlic, halved across
- Olive oil, for drizzling
Method
Ingredients1. Use an Italian-style loaf, good for grilling, such as ciabatta. It can be slightly stale.
2. Slice and grill over an open fire, or under an indoor grill, until golden.
3. Rub the hot toast with the halved garlic
4. Drizzle with olive oil. Make the topping by mixing together roughly chopped tomato, a little olive oil, a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and shredded basil or parsley.
