Goat’s Milk Pecorino

Pecorino is the generic name for ewes (sheep’s) milk cheeses.  It is one of the most important Italian cheese families and is made in central and southern Italy.
Woolworths’ locally made Pecorino, from La Montanara in Ashton, is made with goats’ milk.  It is matured for a minimum of 3 months to give a tangy flavour.
