Cardamom scented organic pears with organic coffee and chocolate sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cups desert wine
- ½ cup sugar
- 10 cardamom pods
- 4 organic pears, peeled
- 100 g organic dark chocolate
- 2 T organic instant coffee
Cooking Instructions
In a deep saucepan, combine the wine, sugar, cardamom and pears. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the pears start to soften.
Melt the chocolate in a separate saucepan. Add the coffee and a little liquid from the pears, then stir through until thick and of a pouring consistency.
Serve the pears in the wine sauce with the chocolate on the side or poured over.
