Cooking filleted chicken breasts so that they are juicy and tender is quite an art. Follow our steps and they’ll be perfect every time.


  1. Season the chicken fillets then place them in a pan over a medium heat for 10 minutes, until the sides turn opaque. Do not turn them during this time.

  2. After 10 minutes, turn them over, reduce the heat, cover the pan and cook for a further 10 minutes, until cooked through.

    Step 2

  3. Remove the fillets from the pan and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before serving or slicing. This is important, as you will lose all the juices if you cut them immediately.

  4. Once they’ve rested, you can shred or slice them and add to salads, sandwiches or pasta, or enjoy with veggies.
