Ginger-beer mango sorbet float

  • 2 cups sparkling ginger beer
  • 1 cup mango sorbet
  • pesticide-free roses, for garnishing

Divide the ginger beer between two tall glasses and top with the mango sorbet.
Serve ice cold, garnished with pesticidefree garden roses.

Cook’s notes: Try these deliciously refreshing variations: sparkling grapefruit juice with vanilla ice cream, lemonade with mixed-berry sorbet, sparkling mango-and-orange juice with strawberry frozen yoghurt, sparkling vanilla-flavoured water with chocolate-brownie ice cream, bitter orange with chocolate ice cream, or sparkling strawberry juice with lemon sorbet. For another dimension, add a few drops of orange-blossom water, rosewater or vanilla syrup.
