Put a little effort in your braai menu this year. Make sweet-and-sticky chicken riblets to serve when guests are feeling peckish while the mains are still grilling on the braai. Here’s how:

Introducing new Woolworths free-range chicken “riblets”. These succulent, bone-in chicken thigh portions are covered in a home-made, sweet and sticky BBQ marinade – an easy, moreish appetiser or main course that’s guaranteed to be a hit at any braai.
Prepare the chicken riblets according to package instructions. Serve on Italian salad leaves, topped with pickled onions and fresh basil pesto mayonnaise. Going all out? Serve with a side of braaied green veg – Tenderstem broccoli, spring onions or baby pak choi, with and basil pesto mayo for dipping.
