The 10-month-matured Gouda won dairy product of the year, and the judges were blown away by the aroma and oozy texture of white-mould Brie de Roche.
The new “Tip & Snack” full-cream cottage cheese with jalapeño salsa snack pot, full-cream plain and double-cream berry trifle-flavoured Ayrshire yoghurts (both contain millions of live bifidobacterium cultures and are made with no added preservatives) also got top marks.
