Grapefruit Nozeco spritz

There’s something deeply satisfying about a spritz that walks the line between bitter and bright. Alcohol-free Nozeco's fine, gently sparkling bubbles carry the smokiness of charred grapefruit, while the ruby grapefruit soda adds a burst of citrus sunshine. Serve it over plenty of ice in wine glasses and you have a drink that looks as good as it tastes: sophisticated, zingy and utterly moreish.

  • 1 large ruby grapefruit, cut into 6 wedges
  • ice, for serving
  • 1 x 750 ml bottle Nozeco Fine Sparkling alcohol-free Spritz, chilled
  • 1 x 750 ml bottle Woolworths sparkling ruby grapefruit flavoured drink, chilled

Method

Ingredients

1. Char the grapefruit wedges over an open flame.

2. Fill six glasses with ice and divide the Nozeco between the glasses, then top with the sparkling grapefruit drink.

3. Add a charred grapefruit wedge to each glass and serve immediately.
