Gran's classic custard cookies

I remember this recipe so well, it was pasted on the inside of my gran’s cupboard where she stuck all of her favourite recipes. It brings back so many lovely kitchen memories. Here it is:

Ingredients:

butter 180 g
icing sugar 50 g
flour 175 g
custard powder 1 T

1 To make the custard cookies, cream the butter and icing sugar, then sift in the remaining ingredients.
2 Either pipe the mixture onto a greased baking tray or roll into balls and flatten slightly using a fork.
3 Bake at 160°C for 15 minutes.
