Make your foodie fantasies come true at the new LUX* Grande Gaube in Mauritius

Sure, the sea views and luxurious rooms at the new LUX* Grande Gaube are spectacular, but it’s the foodie scene that adds the extra flavour to an already enticing holiday.

LUX* Grand Gaube has recently reopened its doors after an extensive renovation, and the new foodie offering is the cherry on top of an incredible Mauritian experience.

Guests are spoiled for choice – with six restaurants and seven bars to choose from, you’ll never have to leave the resort.

At the Palm Court Restaurant (pictured below), each table enjoys ocean views and is bathed in sun- or moonlight through glazed ceilings. Dishes are cooked to order at seven live-cooking stations. Choose from a variety of cuisines, including healthy options (salads, freshly made sushi and kombucha elixirs), Asian (curries, tandoor-baked naan and stir-fries) and Italian dishes (wood-fired pizza, crispy suckling pig). Make suppers extra special by booking the Tastevin, where an expert sommelier will provide valuable insight into the selection of wines. The Palm Court Bar has the largest selection of Prosecco and cider in Mauritius, plus a unique selection of craft, local and imported beers.

Bodrum Blue at LUX* Grande Gaube is a tribute to LUX*’s award-winning resort in Turkey. A selection of fresh seafood dishes is perfectly paired with Turkish wines, available only at Bodrum Blue.

Head up the tree house at Banyan for lazy cocktail-fuelled afternoons. This is a strictly adults-only corner – and for good reason! There are over 80 different rums to choose from! The Creole dishes available at Tree House are slow-cooked over wood and charcoal.

INTI (pictured below) is the first Argentinian-Peruvian restaurant on the island, and has the perfect atmosphere for dreamy sundowners or after-dinner drinks. Lounge at the ceviche and pisco bar as Latin American music provides the upbeat soundtrack to a vibey evening.

In addition to the above offerings, guests can also enjoy dining experiences at the casual Café LUX*, French Kiss Bar and G&T 100 club.

All rooms, suites and villas at LUX* Grande Gaube have ocean views and airy verandas. Do we have your attention? Contact info@islandlightholidays.co.za or visit www.luxresorts.com/en/hotel-mauritius/luxgrandgaube to book your stay at LUX* Grande Gaube now.
