3 dairy-free baking tips:

  • Substitute margarine, canola or coconut oil for butter.
  • Coconut oil makes a great alternative to butter as it behaves in a very similar way (it’s solid when cold and melts when heated), making it very easy for when you have to cream butter and sugar.
  • If you’re using margarine, do read the label, not all margarines are equal and some may contain some dairy derivatives.
