- 500 g beef fillet cubes
- 2 T coconut milk
- 1 t light brown sugar
- 1 chopped red chilli
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 handful chopped coriander
Marinate the beef fillet cubes in the coconut milk, brown sugar, chopped red chilli, crushed garlic and chopped coriander for 20 minutes.
Thread onto skewers, alternating with onion petals, and grill for 15 minutes.
Serve with dressed baby cos lettuce and sprinkle with coriander and extra chilli.
Cook's note: This recipe is unbelievably easy and takes just 20 minutes to prepare. Plus, it's an instant hit with everyone, especially braai enthusiasts who'll find it delicious cooked over hot coals.
