  • 1½ cups Woolworths Madagascan vanilla ice cream
  • 3 T cream
  • ⅓ cup Amarula Cream Liqueur
  • dark chocolate, finely grated, to garnish

Cooking Instructions

1. Place all the ingredients into a blender and pulse for a few seconds until combined.

2. Pour into glasses and top with the grated chocolate. Serve immediately.

Cook's note: Amarula cream liquor is the key ingredient in this traditional and unique South African cocktail. You can switch up the flavour by using the other two Amarula flavour variants: Amarula Raspberry Chocolate Baobab or Amarula Ethiopian Coffee.

Amarula is made from the delicious Marula fruit of sub-Equatorial Africa, the Marula spirit is distilled and aged in French oak for two years before being blended with a velvety cream to create the smooth taste of Amarula. Amarula has a slightly fruity taste with hints of caramel.
