  • 1 x 280 g Madeira cake
  • 1 x 310 g ginger cake
  • 125 ml mascarpone
  • 6 strawberries, sliced
  • 1 mango, peeled and sliced
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Cooking Instructions

Slice the cakes horizontally into four slices. Use a star-shaped pastry cutter and press out three stars per slice, making 24 stars.
Use a spatula and spread with mascarpone and top with strawberry or sliced mango. Close sandwich with another star. Dust with icing sugar and serve with coffee or dessert wine.
