Turn last night’s steak into tonight’s dinner hero with this easy leftover steak pasta recipe. With just three ingredients, plus an optional dusting of Parmesan, this simple steak pasta is proof that a handful of shortcuts and clever leftovers can create something seriously delicious.

  • 1 x 250 g Woolworths fettuccine
  • 1 x 370 g Woolworths tomato-and-mascarpone pasta sauce
  • slow-cooked beef flank roast with onion gravy leftovers, shredded
  • Parmesan, grated, to garnish (optional)

Method

Ingredients
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 2 T of the pasta water when draining.
  2. Heat the pasta sauce in a saucepan, add the pasta water, then stir through the cooked pasta and shredded flank steak leftovers.
  3. Top with Parmesan, if using, before serving.
